A product design and branding project for an accessory collection developed in collaboration with Uchida Kogeisho, a workshop in Ogawa Town, Saitama, that has been specializing in acrylic processing for four generations.
[uncreated] is a brand that uncovers the hidden beauty of acrylic through craftsmanship, creating objects that resonate with people’s sensibilities. The first collection consists of three series.
The Moire series explores visual dynamism through special processing applied to both sides, creating a sense of movement. Hand-dyeing adds a soft, emotional quality.
The Miroir series incorporates mirrors and polarizing film between layers, achieving a solid, refined aesthetic with a sense of elegance.
The Broc series highlights the intrinsic beauty of acrylic by combining polished and hairline finishes across different surfaces, allowing for a variety of expressions depending on the viewing angle.
The name uncreated represents what is yet to be created, while partially incorporating “Acrylic” and “Uchida.” The logotype is designed to subtly express the refraction of acrylic.
