This design was created for a digital thermo-hygrometer manufactured by Sato Keiryoki Mfg. Co., Ltd. (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) as part of a model update.

The design focuses on a high-precision thermo-hygrometer featuring an alert function that uses a buzzer and LED indicator to notify the user when the temperature exceeds a set limit. Since the device is intended for tabletop or wall-mounted use rather than handheld operation, the design eliminates superfluous ornamentation, aiming instead to blend seamlessly into the space as if it had always belonged there. The surrounding bezel features a uniform thickness, creating perfectly square proportions when viewed from the front. A thermometer utilizing the same housing was released simultaneously.

The display features a layout that ensures the numerical readings are easy to see, even from a distance. Equipped with an external sensor, the device is suitable for use in environments ranging from factories to private homes.

In addition to the product design, I was responsible for the format design of the company’s product catalog as part of their unified visual identity (VI) project.
